Binance P2P Buyer Marked Paid but No Money Arrived
Do not release crypto because the buyer clicked Paid or sent a receipt. Check your own bank or payment provider directly and verify that the full amount is settled, the sender identity is acceptable for the order, and the payment cannot merely be a pending notification. If funds are absent, keep the order open and appeal from the payment-verification page.
Steps that preserve your options
- Open the bank or payment app independently, not through a buyer link. Search the exact time and amount, refresh the account, and distinguish available or settled funds from pending, reversed, scheduled, or screenshot-only claims.
- Keep discussion inside the Binance P2P order chat. State that payment is not visible and request the transaction reference if appropriate. Do not accept a request to move to WhatsApp, share a verification code, or release first so that payment can allegedly arrive.
- On the Verify Payment page, open Appeal, choose the seller reason matching payment not received, describe the account check and timeline, and attach only the evidence requested by the official case flow.
- Monitor Appeal Status. If funds later arrive, verify payer name, amount, and settlement before following the platform's resolution flow. If the order was already released, use the completed-order appeal route immediately.
If this does not work
Fake receipts, delayed bank rails, third-party payments, partial payments, and chargebacks require different evidence. A push notification or buyer countdown does not replace the seller's own account record. Canceling an appeal by mistake can also delay resubmission.
How to confirm completion
Release only when the seller's own provider shows the full settled payment and the order details match. If appealed, completion is the documented case outcome—not a private promise from the buyer or someone posing as support.
Risk and account limits
Releasing crypto is difficult to reverse, while some fiat payments can be disputed later. Follow local law and Binance's regional P2P rules, and preserve bank records. Never disclose full financial credentials or approve remote access.
Interface labels and availability may vary by region and account. Facts were checked on the date shown; confirm current details in your own Binance account.
