Binance P2P Buyer Paid but Crypto Was Not Released

Do not cancel an order after paying and do not send a second payment because the counterparty pressures you. Keep all communication in the Binance order chat, confirm the bank or payment record shows the transfer's actual status, and open Appeal from the pending-release order when the normal release window has passed.

Steps that preserve your options

  1. Confirm the payment left the account used for the order and matches the recipient, amount, reference, currency, and time. Save the official payment receipt and transaction record; a pending or scheduled transfer is not the same as completed payment.
  2. Return to the exact Binance P2P order. Keep it open, mark it paid only if payment was actually completed, and use the in-order chat to state the payment reference without sharing passwords, full card data, or unrelated account information.
  3. Open Help or Appeal on the Pending Release page, choose the buyer reason that matches paid but not released, describe the timeline, and attach the requested valid evidence. Binance's current flow shows the respondent a reply window before support review.
  4. Monitor Appeal Status and official email or app notifications. Respond inside the case. Cancel the appeal only when the matter is truly resolved and the interface explains the resulting action.

If this does not work

Canceling after payment can remove the order's normal escrow path. Off-platform messages, third-party payment names, incomplete receipts, or a payment still pending at the bank can complicate the evidence. Do not pay a separate recovery fee to the counterparty or a private-message helper.

How to confirm completion

Completion means the order status and wallet show the crypto released, or the fiat payment is verifiably returned. A seller's promise, screenshot, or request to wait outside the appeal is not completion.

Risk and account limits
