Lost Binance 2FA After Changing Phones
Use only the recovery path reached from Binance's official login page. After entering the account email or phone and password, choose the unavailable passkey or verification method, then select Security verification unavailable. Mark every lost method and complete the remaining identity and security checks.
Steps that preserve your options
- Type binance.com yourself or use a trusted bookmark, select Log In, enter the account email or phone, and continue. If a missing passkey prompt appears, cancel it and choose the option indicating the passkey is unavailable.
- Enter the password. On Security Verification Requirements, select the method you cannot access and open Security verification unavailable. On the reset page, check every unavailable 2FA device, not only the first one shown.
- Read the reset warning and confirm only when you can tolerate the security hold. Complete verification with any remaining method. Binance may ask for a new phone or email and further identity review; provide data only inside the official flow.
- Save the submitted or Under Review screen. When approved, sign in with the new method, remove unknown devices, review recent activity, and create a recovery plan before holding or moving funds.
If this does not work
Repeatedly entering codes from a new authenticator installation will not recreate a secret that was never restored. If the request is denied, recheck which methods remain available and use official customer support rather than social-media accounts offering manual recovery.
How to confirm completion
Success means the reset request is approved and a new 2FA method works on a fresh login. Binance states that withdrawals, P2P selling, internal transfers, and payment services may remain disabled for up to 48 hours after reset.
Risk and account limits
Account recovery attracts impersonators. Never disclose a password, seed phrase, authenticator secret, one-time code, or screen-control access. A reset changes account security and can temporarily restrict access to funds; this page intentionally has no registration call to action.
